I just wanted to share some updated pictures of Trent during his bath time. It's really hard to get pictures of Mr. Serious while he's smiling. Every time we pull out the camera he just stares and we lose the smile but h
e LOVES his bath time so much I was able to get a good one of him. He can be tired and cranky but put him in the bath and he'll play and splash away! The picture on the left just makes me laugh :-)
Trent has pretty much perfected his crawling abilities and not too long after learning to crawl did he start pulling himself up. Shortly after learning to crawl Trent found his basket full of toys and had a great
time pulling every single one of them out. In the last week he's been "walking" around the tables, couches, chairs or all over us. I'm very grateful we have a house now that gives him more room to explore and work on his new skills.
Today Braden finally made his debut after mommy went through a very long and uncomfortable labor. The doctor finally decided on doing a c-section earlier this morning. He weighed in at
8 pounds and is 21 inches long. Mommy, daddy and baby are doing well. It's amazing how much Braden and Trent look alike, we must have some strong genetics in our family :-)

We have a beautiful field of bluebonnets near our home so the other day my sister in law took the kids out there to get some pictures. I w
anted to share them because I thought they turned out great!! (and yes, Trent is about to eat that flower)
Trent has been a very busy baby! He has learned to crawl like a pro and is starting to pull himself up on things (like the couch or coffee table). We all had a really nice relaxing Easter. Trent "found" some eg
gs and a good time playing with the other kids and babies. It is amazing how quick time flies! I can't get over that he is already 7 months old!! Also, an update on Braden, my sister is 1 cm dialated and at about 37 weeks so anyday now we can expect the newest member to our family!!
We have just been so blessed to be able to have my sister in law, Melissa, watch Trent! Trent's youngest cousin, Gavin, is just 6 months older than him so they are finally able to play together. To the left you can see them having a "drool contest". I just absolutely love the fact that Trent will be able to grow up so clo
se to his cousins and Gavin and him are already little buddies. Just the other day Melissa told me they were holding hands while riding together in the stroller. I just know how much my cousins made my childhood so much fun that I am just thrilled that Trent will have the same thing!!

I'm so sorry it's been an incredibley long time since I've posted a blog. It has just been so busy and chaotic lately. David and I bought a house in Little Elm and are finally all moved in. We are loving it!! There is so much more room and the dog is truly enjoying having his very own backyard to run around in. Trent is working on crawling. He gets on all fours and will rock back
and forth. He throws a hand forward or moves his knees but hasn't done it all together yet. He also is a pro at sitting by himself. Having the new home has really helped since we can spread his toys on the floor and let him play! To the right you can see our little rock star in action:-) Also, Adrianne's new little guy, Braden, should be arriving in about another month!! We can't wait for the newest addition to make his debut!
Well, this has been a very busy weekend!! Early Friday morning we woke up and headed to Houston for my older sister, Adrianne's wedding and baby shower. We pretty much didn't stop all day Friday. Once we got in town, we went to see the 3D sonogram of Braden (my newest little nephew) and from there went to get our hair and makeup done for the wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony and a wonderful little reception with just family and close friends. My sister looked like a princess! Gorgeous!! After the reception, my dad, step mom and little sister took Trent home with them while David and I got a chance to hang out baby free for a little awhile. It was so much fun! Th
en we woke up Saturday morning and got ready and headed to Chuy's for Adrianne's baby shower. It was very nice and relaxing. It made me even more excited for my little nephew to come! David had to head back to Dallas on Saturday so he could work that night but Trent and I stayed in Houston and spent some time with my dad, step mom, sisters and my newest brother in law, Nigel. It was a very quiet night on Saturday as we just watched some tv and hung out. Sunday
morning my mom, Trent and I headed back to Dallas. Trent did very good in the car both ways. He mostly slept and really enjoyed his bigger carseat. After such a busy weekend I am completely exhausted! It was so great seeing everyone and I can't wait to see everyone again in May for my little sister's high school graduation :-)

I just wanted those Colt fans that are out there know that Trent was able to wear his outfit on Sunday. It was a little big on him but not bad at all. He was very happy that the Colts won
but insisted on having his cowboys football :-)
My goodness did last month fly by and I have a feeling this one will too! I'm happy to say David and I have been looking for a house and will hopefully be signing the contract today. Our goal is to be moved by the end of the month. Also, we have my sister's baby shower and wedding coming up. I am so excited for her, my new brother in law and my newest nephew. I also cannot wait to see the rest of my family! I have a feeling people will be shocked with how much Trent has changed. For the last three weeks or so he's been holding his own bottle
but lately he has really got it down! He can actually hold the bottle until he's finished with it. He's also been holding on to my hand and guiding it into his mouth when I feed him his baby food. I think before we know it he'll be able to feed himself completly. Oh, and the Colt's fans out there, Trent is still too little to wear his outfit but his big ol' head will fit into his hat so he will be wearing it this Sunday :-)
GO COLTS!
